Estimated Cost of Attendance
Costs for distance learning courses are determined by Texas A&M University and are based on your state residency status, and how many courses you take each semester. Each year these costs are re-evaluated, and they are subject to change over time.
The costs for Distance Learning courses in Safety Engineering are calculated on a Semester Credit Hour basis. In general, courses are 3 Semester Credit Hours each. General tuition and required fees for the 2015-2016 academic year are as follows*:
- State of Texas Residents: $840.99 per semester credit hour ($2522.99 per one three hour course)
- Non-Texas Resident or International: $1279.50 per semester credit hour ($3838.49 per one three hour course)
*These costs only incorporate basic tuition rates, required fees of all students, College of Engineering differential tuition, and distance education differential tuition rates. Additional University, College, and course fees may be applied to your total semester costs. These rates are calculated using the Texas A&M University Tuition and Fee Schedule for the Academic Year 2015-2016.
