Wang Named Editor of Journal of Safety, Health and Environmental Research

(STILLWATER, Okla., July 12, 2016) – Dr. Qingsheng Wang has been named as the new Editor of Journal of Safety, Health and Environmental Research (JSHER). Wang is Dale F. Janes Endowed Associate Professor of Fire Protection & Safety and Graduate Faculty of Chemical Engineering. His research work has primarily focused on fire protection and process safety engineering, including thermal analysis, flame retardants, fire suppression, emergency evacuation and quantitative risk analysis. He has served as an editorial board member of several journals, including Case Studies in Fire Safety.

The Journal of Safety, Health and Environmental Research is an online peer-reviewed journal publication by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). It consists of theoretical and empirical manuscripts, reviews and editorials devoted to a wide variety of safety, health and environmental (SH&E) issues and practices. JSHER is one of the premier sources of information for both academics and practitioners concerned with SH&E, safety management, engineering and legal/regulatory issues.
