Short Recap of 2019 Process Safety International Symposium

November 27, 2019

The Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center 2019 International Symposium held at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center in College Station, Texas drew speakers and attendees from across the world. Speakers and attendees travelled from Chile, Australia, Japan, South Africa, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and many more. Over 600 attendees gathered to listen to presentations from experts in the process safety field discuss topics such as Management, Operations, and Offshore; Human Factors; Design and Analysis; and Research and Next Generation. Attendees of the 2019 International Symposium represented six different continents and 122 different companies ranging from engineering and manufacturing companies to pharmaceutical and insurance companies.  Representatives from companies leading the way in process safety innovation set up booths to interact with our attendees, allowing symposium and booth attendees to expand their professional networks and showcase their ground-breaking technology. The banquet, held in Kyle Field, as well as the cocktail reception held on the first day of the Symposium provided attendees and speakers further networking opportunities along with great food and a photo session with Texas A&M University’s mascot Reveille.
