Naga Venkata Saidileep Korlapati is a Ph.D. student at Texas A&M University with the department of Multidisciplinary Engineering, under the supervision of Dr. Faisal Khan and Dr. Sreeram Vaddiraju from MKOPSC.

His research interests include process safety systems and the application of data science tools and molecular modeling approaches for safety of hydrogen transportation. His current research aims to identify various sources of atomic hydrogen in blending hydrogen with natural gas towards developing a mechanistic model for Safety and Integrity of Hydrogen Transportation through Transmission Pipelines.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India, and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. He conducted research on Fault Prognostics in Manufacturing Systems for his master’s thesis under the supervision of Dr. Satish Bukkapatnam.
