Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1991 and an MBA from the University of Houston Clear Lake in 1995.  Rob joined Exxon Chemical in 1991 at the Baytown Chemical Plant as a unit process contact engineer. 

Throughout his career, he has had a

variety of roles in Operations, Planning, Technology, and Ventures.  Some of these roles include Global Manufacturing Planner (2003-05), North American Olefins Business Team Leader (2006-08), Operations Department Head (2008-11), Global Benchmarking Manager (2012-16), Technology Site and Operations Manager (2016-21), planning advisor (2022-23), and Venture Manufacturing Manager (2024).  Rob has also worked at multiple sites – Baytown Chemical Plant (twice), Rotterdam Aromatics Plant, Baton Rouge Chemical Plant, Chemicals Headquarters, Baytown Technology Center, and the ExxonMobil Houston Campus. 

Rob has been married to Amy for 32 years and they have one daughter Ellie ‘21 who graduated from Texas A&M University Mays Business School and will be graduating from Georgetown Law School in May 2024.  Rob enjoys Aggie sports, golf, boating, fishing, travel, church activities, and working in the backyard.
