Mark Griffon is an Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts and is president of Mark Griffon Consulting LLC a consulting company focusing on occupational and environmental safety and health and radiation safety.
Mark Griffon is a former Board Member of the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board. He was appointed to the Board by President Obama in 2010 and completed his five-year term in 2015. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Griffon served as a member of the Federal Advisory Board on Radiation and Worker Health that was established to advise the Department of Health and Human Services on occupational illness and compensation policy.
Mr. Griffon’s career has included work in academia, the public sector, and the private sector and has included work in the areas of toxics and radiation site assessment and clean-up, exposure and risk assessment, toxics and radiation policy and worker health and safety training.
Mr. Griffon has a B.S. in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.S. in Radiological Sciences from University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a Doctorate of Science from the Work Environment Department University of Massachusetts Lowell.
